Our Business and Supply Chains

Gardeners Seven Kings provides gardening, landscaping, and grounds maintenance services to residential, commercial, and community clients. Our supply chains include tools, machinery, plants, fertilisers, protective clothing, and other materials sourced from a range of suppliers and subcontractors. We recognise that certain parts of the horticulture, construction, and service sectors, both in the United Kingdom and overseas, can be exposed to a higher risk of labour exploitation, and we are committed to actively managing these risks.

Zero-Tolerance Approach to Modern Slavery

Gardeners Seven Kings has a clear zero-tolerance policy towards all forms of modern slavery, human trafficking, forced labour, debt bondage, and child labour. Gardeners Seven Kings carries out proportionate supplier checks and audits, focusing on higher-risk categories such as labour-intensive services, imported materials, and low-cost product ranges. These checks may include requests for information on labour practices, onsite visits where appropriate, and the requirement for suppliers to confirm that they have their own policies and controls against modern slavery. Where risk is identified, we engage with suppliers to seek improvements. If satisfactory improvements are not made within a reasonable timeframe, we reserve the right to review or terminate the relationship.

Reporting Channels and Whistleblowing

We encourage all employees, workers, contractors, and other stakeholders to report any concerns related to modern slavery or unethical labour practices, whether within our own operations or in our supply chains.
